Some of the best plays were born at a corner table in the local coffee shop. So we figured, what better place to perform them? Welcome to the New Play Cafe!

Throughout this fall/winter, we’re turning local coffee shops into the New Play Cafe, a warm & fuzzy come-as-you-are place to enjoy cold weather treats with the works of our favorite new playwrights. Whether it’s a comedy with a cappuccino, a love story with a latte, or something avant-garde with an Americano, there’s sure to be a little something for everyone at the New Play Cafe!

Tickets are pay-what-you-can and only available at the door the day of.

Availability is based on venue capacity and may vary for each performance.

In accordance with the City of New York, we are requiring all attendees to provide proof of vaccination. Valid forms of proof include:

NY City’s “NYC COVID Safe” App
NY State’s “Excelsior Pass”
CDC Vaccination Card (or photo)
NYC Vaccination Record
An official immunization record from outside NYC or the U.S
