Love is in the air, and the fairies are ripe for mischief! Shakespeare… with a twist! returns just in time for Pride with our silliest, sexiest play yet: A Midsummer Night's Dream.

In the forests of Athens, four young lovers unknowingly find themselves in the middle of a feud between the King and Queen of the fairies. Their lives soon take a magical twist, when one meddling fairy causes chaos with the aid of a powerful love potion. Meanwhile, a bumbling troupe of amateur actors rehearse a play to be performed for the Duke's wedding.

"All the world's a stage, so why the hell shouldn't we do this in a bar?"

– William Shakespeare (probably...)

Welcome, royals and groundlings alike, to Shakespeare… with a twist! Bringing you the violent, sexy, hysterical plays of William Shakespeare the way they were meant to be seen: while drinking!

We're staging our hysterical no-frills fast-paced performances of Shakespeare's greatest works in bars across NYC. And in true 16th century fashion, we're tearing down the fourth wall and putting YOU directly into the action. What's the twist? We've only rehearsed for 24 hours!

Our merry band of professional actors is ready to make you laugh, cry, cringe, boo, and cheer. And as always, whenever we forget a line... everyone drinks! So sit back, relax, and let’s put the BAR back in Bard!
